How to install an Operating System On a New PC

To install an operating system (OS) in a new computer simply follow these simple steps:

     1. First, set your computer to boot from a CD drive. Start your computer, then when the screen displays options on what to enter, (Ex. F1=boot menu, F10=setup Etc..) press F10 to enter setup then go to boot order then set to boot first from CD drive. Save the settings then turn off your computer.
     2. Now start your computer then insert the CD which Contains your Operating System.(Ex. windows XP, Vista, windows 7).
     3. Then the computer will display "press any key to boot from CD. . ." and press any key to start the installation process.
     4. Just follow the instructions being displayed on the screen.
     5. You will be asked if you want to partition the memory in your hard drive. If you don't want to partition it, then you can start. It will first reformat the hard drive and then it will install the files from the CD.
     6. After it is finished, you will be asked to enter the Product Key. (it is usually located on the CD case).
     7. You'll be asked for the Administrator password. (optional).
     8. Now its done and you can already customize and use your PC.
